We have frequented this unpretentious little restaurant for years when we lived in South Africa. Returning after some years absence we were apprehensive about it being under new management, but need not have worried… the quality of the pizzas remains exceptionally high (and one of us is Italian !).
Always enjoyable to share the venue with tables full of students, and local couples out for a good meal.
Still prone to employ new young waiters, but most of them try hard to be efficient and to please.
The manager came to show a trainee how to serve our banana flambe, and the nervous young chap managed to set himself and the table alight…. Very entertaining… he was quite surprised when we left him a tip…. All part of the down to earth, real life vibe of the place.
