About this holiday

This is one of the required trips back to RSA for renewal of the permanent resident visas.

​

The holiday was extremely successful.

Angelo started planning and booking flights and accommodation a full year before departure.

​

Great food and drink was enjoyed.

31 different restaurants were visited.

Accommodation in 7 different establishments was top notch.

The sights visited, day trips and game parks were diverse and all very much enjoyed.

​

A 7 hour delay of the return flights led to 1200 Euro refund from Air France.

Thrifty car hire made a mess of their billing and it took weeks to get the required refunds.

Flying Premium Economy was much more comfortable than Economy and allowed  2 suitcases each, meaning we could bring back lots of special South African goodies including

A game skins mat

Springbok skins x 2

Bread baking tins x 2

(Just could not find this size in Ireland)

Sheepskin slippers for everyone
