Although the manager was hovering about, and was quite friendly in coming over to say hi, the service was disappointingly inattentive, particularly given the fact there were only 4 occupied tables at the time.
A pleasant garden setting if you don’t mind sitting on benches rather than chairs with backrests.
Kudu carpaccio, lamb curry and bobotie were all quite edible but of disappointing quality, all appearing to have been prepared and presented with little “love and respect” for the ingredients and recipes.
We were not upset by experience, and perhaps we visited at a time when some difficulties were being experienced with staff and kitchen… but we were definitely singularly underwhelmed.
