We stayed 4 nights in the resort and reserved the outside gazebo at the end of the pier to celebrate our first night in.
Attentive but not intrusive service, very well prepared and tasty venison fillet, excellent bobotie (one of the best we had the entire trip), good wine and a glorious sunset with birds coming in for the night , made for a very special dining experience.
We had hippos and cranes visiting close up at lunch time, and entertainment from birds at breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast is an unrushed affair with well prepared standard fare and a daily unusual dish… self service ensuring quantities are just right as desired.
The quality of the food in the restaurant is in the top rankings with the best restaurants in town, and the setting is simply glorious.
We recommend a drive out here for lunch or dinner if overnighting outside the camp.
