A very pleasing ambiance and varied menu. Interesting wine list, and attentive service.
Our marrow bones were served perfectly well cooked and presented. The starter bobotie was not exceptional but of a very good standard. The kudu stew in a poitjie was well cooked and seasoned, as was the venison pie, both coming with a pleasing array of sides. The chocolate salami and crème brulee desserts were delicious.
A very pleasing dining experience. My wife and I were thick in discussion if to rate this restaurant the best or second best of the four we tried in Oudshoorn…. we eventually agreed to rate the two as joint best…. the wine was that good… as was the food.
